Humans of Orchan –
Edison
Edison is a person who
believes that if there’s no hard work in the things you do, success is
impossible to be reached in the end. He’s just like any other ordinary guy,
who dreams big and aims be on top of the world. But at times, he thinks weakness stands
in the way of reaching his goals - time management sometimes poses a great challenge to
him, in spite of confidence and his hunger to learn new things every single day
where possible. Never thinking of giving up, his principles in life have led him
to be the man that he is today – and his journey has
just begun as he goes through it and adapts.
Here’s a selfie of myself using GoPro Hero camera while riding bicycle with my nephew (not in picture) back in my hometown, Sabah.

Hi, there! I’m Edison
and I am currently an intern at Orchan Consulting. I love intensive sports
especially going to the gym and recently, I got addicted to adventurous
activities including open water diving. I have to admit, I am very concerned
about my overall appearance – as my goal is to have
the body of a fitness model (hopefully, LOL). You may call me “Gym Rat” too, if
you like. Oh I love to dance too, especially to K-pop songs. Along the way, I
have gained some skills on video editing and playing guitar too. You might find
me a little bit annoying now because I just can’t stop talking about my
talent! Just kidding! *cue pre-recorded laughter*
Okay, so here comes the
serious part. I’m currently a college student, studying at Taylor’s University
Lakeside Campus. I’m currently undergoing semester 5 of my diploma course, which
is a 3-month internship.
During my internship, I
have learnt many things, from accountancy to public relations duties. It was
quite nerve-wracking as I started my internship, because I have never done any work
prior to Public Relations field. But as time progresses, I started to like what
I’m doing and enjoying my internship. Many thanks to my colleagues for their
guidance throughout this whole internship period, I managed to overcome most of
the difficulties I met. And most importantly, I enjoy facing the challenges.
