Malaysia’s Own Open-Air Concept Shopping Mall
The word Citta came from an ancient language, and
refers to your mind and heart. True to its namesake, Citta Mall aspires to be a
place where the mind and heart meet as one. As a place that represents life at
its fullest, Citta Mall offers Weekend Bazaar, operating from 10am to 10pm
every Friday to Sunday where community gathers and negotiate for better prices.
Citta Mall is an open air mall, uniquely different to that of the
typical boxed up malls in the Klang Valley. Promoting up-cycling and recycling
of products via their Facebook page, Citta Mall accentuates green living and
their love for the environment. Citta
mall is also the home to a 75-year old rain tree, which can be seen at their
main outdoor car park on the Ground Floor.

Scary Fun Time at Citta Mall
Citta Mall localized a popular American celebration,
Halloween by gathering families with fun-filled events and activities. The Halloween
Costume Competition witnessed the creativity of kids from the age of 4 to 12
years old as they donned their spookiest outfit and eeriest pose. Cuteness
collided with spookiness as a total of more than 100 kids lined up on stage to
be taken photos for judging purposes.
For the kids, the best part of Halloween is of course the “Trick or
Treat”. Citta Mall localized this tradition by extending the opening hours of
its mall. Children get to walk around the mall with their pumpkin basket,
‘trick or treat’-ing tenants within Citta Mall.

Inventive Hocus-Pocus
Scare away Dracula, Freddy from Elm Street and all things scary this
Halloween with Citta Mall, while tapping into your children’s creative mind
with Citta Mall’s pumpkin carving competition.
While Halloween is often associated with creepy figures, it is also a
creative-inducing celebration. With different versions of Jack o’lantern – the
imaginative, but skilfully carved pumpkins – children are exposed to bring
their creativity to life.
The contest was open to parents and their children – aged between 4 to
10 years old – as an opportunity to bond over a rare pumpkin carving session. From
removing the filling from the pumpkin, deciding the design of the pumpkin, to
carving it; this session assures everyone a great deal of fun.
