Since opening its business operations over six years
ago, German Bistro and Restaurant Weissabrӓu has been serving amazing authentic
German cuisine to its customer in the spirit of great good, with a touch of
tomfoolery. With the establishment of two outlets – Weissabrӓu Pavilion and Weissabrӓu
Straits Quay, the restaurant always ensures to serve only the best of German
cuisine.
Offering a range of hearty German dishes such as
Crispy Pork Knuckle, Pork Ribs and Giant Wiener Schnitzel, served together with
sides-dishes such as Sauerkraut
(Shredded Cabbage in white wine vinegar), German Potato Salad, Garlic Mashed
potato or lightly pan-fried Spaetzli (homemade egg noodles), Weissabrӓu’s dishes are impressive and tantalise the
taste buds. Weissabrӓu’s menu is influenced by countries countries bordering
Germany such as France, Switzerland and Belgium – this is highlighted with
dishes such as Flammkuchen (a popular Austrian pizza type of dish; it is a thin crust
dough topped with sour cream, roasted onion, anchovies and olives, quickly
baked in oven), Roesti (shredded potato strips pan-fried in clarified butter,
served either on its own or with bacon, egg, onion, cheese), Moule Mariniere or
Seamen’s style Mussel Pot (pot of mussels cooked in white wine and fresh
vegetables).
German cuisine is not complete without its favourite
drink – beer. At Weissabrӓu, the list of beers available is extensive. Just to
name a few, Erdinger,
Hoegaarden, Franziskaner and Leffe Blonde are available on tap while imported
bottled beer such as Paulaner, Lowenbrau, Becks, Konid Ludwig, Grolsch are
served chilled. Weissabrӓu also
serves a good range of spirits, liqueurs and wine.
The diversity in Weissabrӓu brings an interesting
exploration of food from the German region. Reflecting the fusion of cultures,
ingredients and cooking styles, Weissabrӓu stands out for its remarkable German
cuisine and food from the broader region. Orchan helped to promote the
wonderful German food and drinks offered by Weissabrӓu, besides helping to manage its social media presence and reputation.
