Blast From the Past | Aroma to Order
Established in the
Victorian era by William Penhaligon, Penhaligon’s is an English perfume house
which is known for its unique, original fragrances. With a wide array of scents,
Penhaligon’s believes in the emotive power of scent and its ability to open
doors to a moment in time.
In the effort to
embrace the Malaysian market, Penhaligon’s engaged Orchan to introduce the
brand and its range of fragrances, as well as gradually develop awareness for
the perfume house. An exclusive media event was in the works for select
lifestyle media. However, to make this event memorable and stand apart from the
rest, we went with a significantly more personal and interactive approach.
Hosted by
Penhaligon’s management team and specialist perfumier – who flew in all the way
from England, the exclusive media event was aptly held at Carcosa Seri Negara
for its Victorian style of architecture and atmosphere. Attended by a number of
media, they witnessed the launch of Penhaligon’s range of fragrance over a
session of afternoon high tea.
As with any
individual, journalists have their own preference when it comes to fragrance.
To cater to their individuality whilst demonstrating the versatility of
Penhaligon’s, their specialist perfumier worked with each one of them to create
a fragrance that they could call their own – and in fact take a bottle of it
home!
