New Webinars | Making it Happen in Business As Unusual (May 2020)

The past six weeks have made most of us take a good, deep look at what we are doing, and hopefully, ascertain new ways to move forward as a result.

Many businesses are stuck in shock, surprised that a lockdown of this scale could ever affect them, and moreover, think that the way forward is business as usual once things go back.

But its not; the new normal will be our normal from this point forward, and it is our responsibility to ourselves and our stakeholders to salvage the best of what we can from what has happened, and to look at new opportunities and pivot towards these.

This may include new forms of business, new product or service offerings, unexpected collaborations, or even the need to rebrand our personal expertise to address new questions.

None of this is easy, but it is essential.

The Orchan team have been busy not only addressing these questions for our business, but also in curating workshops and webinars to help other businesses navigate and progress through these issues.

Three new workshops for public have been written, and will be facilitated by Orchan Director Dr Craig J Selby and Consultant Michelle Nunis.

Sustainability & Business Continuity
20 May 2020
4:00pm-6:30pm
Workshopping ways for your business to examine opportunities to pivot and evolve in order for the business to survive into the future. We will look into the heart of your business, and show you how to examine deadwood and new opportunities, and make effective plans today to ensure continuity tomorrow.

Collaborating for Growth
22 May 2020
4:00pm-6:30pm
Old alignments and partnerships may no longer be viable. But new ones may create the opportunities you need to let your business thrive again. This workshop steps participants through practical considerations and exercises to develop new collaborations and partnerships, to find each others strengths and share of voice, and to create a win-win situation to facilitate continuity and growth. Collaborations may range from a single project to strengthen your credibility for a client, through to a long term legal partnership involving shares and combined business interests. Either way, getting it right from the start will maximise your chances of success.

Brand YOU!
29 May 2020
4:00pm-6:30pm
So many personal brand workshops are aimed to get you to represent your life as a pseudo celebrity. That's not for us. What we care about is professional image, and how to gain credibility and standing in your industry as a thought leader, trusted consultant, or ideal candidate. We focus on how to develop and activate your professional brand (the intersection between personality, achievement, and position) that makes you stand out amongst others in your sector. As jobs become hard to find, as businesses seek guiding lights - now is the time for you to step it up with your brand and showcase that you are credible and have value to add in any situation. No duck face photos, sorry!

Each workshop is RM 98 for two and a half hours of expert advice and ideas. We take a no-nonsense approach to giving quality guidance and feedback, and tell it as it is, so that you can make real decisions affecting your brands and you.

Both facilitators have had depth involvement in local and global brands, and bring not only their unique perspectives to the table, laced with a bit of humour, but also a deep passion to effect change in the people and brands they work with.

Drop us a line webinars@orchan.asia to RSVP your spot. each workshop is limited to 25 pax to ensure personalised interaction and advice.

A discount is available for registering for all three (3) webinars, as is an earlybird rate available if you register and pay before Friday 15 May 2020.
