September 2012 was another significant and memorable time for Orchan
Consulting | Asia. On this occasion, Orchan clinched the category winner under the
Business to Business (B2B) Campaign of the Year for its campaign namely,
Chocolate Box PR, in the Malaysia Public Relations Awards (MPRA) 2012 organised
by the Public Relations Consultants’ Association of Malaysia (PRCA Malaysia).
Chocolate Box is a concept package which was introduced by Orchan
Consulting | Asia’s managing director, Craig J Selby, aimed to target start-up
businesses and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in its efforts to
familiarise them with using public relations services. This concept package is
accessible and applicable to any business that had not used public relations
before and the interesting part of this package was, it became a cost-effective
option for small businesses with a compelling story to tell.
As most new start-ups are unfamiliar with the importance of public
relations to their business, Chocolate Box is a basic three-step package that
worked on different levels to prepare, educate, pitch and create exposure for
the entrepreneurs’ products and services. The benefit of this public relations
tool is designed to introduce a model in engaging with the entrepreneurs’
mindset about the need for effective and practical solutions to help them get
recognised.
The MPRA B2B Award 2012 for Chocolate Box clearly reflects the company’s
name, Orchan – Orchestrating Change; for it sparks a positive change that will
help the clients in creating their very own customised Chocolate Box PR model
for their business.
