Are You War-Room Ready for 2022 & Beyond?
How Prepared is Your Brand for a Crisis?
Be honest with yourself; you
are not really prepared for a crisis until you can simulate it live with your
team. A war-room scenario is really the best way to diagnose the strengths and
weaknesses of your crisis plan, the response types you’ll need, where the internal
bottlenecks develop, and how your team reacts to unexpected developments when
under pressure.
Orchan will develop and host a crisis simulation workshop (war-room), either in-person or via Zoom, for your crisis team, including leadership.
This includes:
Preparatory Session: We will meet with you and select team members to
identify two to three scenarios most appropriate for a simulation, as well as
specific vulnerabilities, pressure points or stakeholders to include. However, the specific simulation will remain
a surprise to all staff.
Preparatory Folio: We will prepare a folio that includes the crisis
plan and some minimal instructions for the simulation (eg; timing of breaks,
restrictions on other calls/meetings, etc).
Crisis Scenario Materials: As the mock crisis unfolds, we’ll present new
information in vivid ways with slides, handouts and emails/calls from people
playing the roles of reporters, employees and other stakeholders.
Report: After the simulation, we will provide a detailed
report of our findings, including assessment of areas for improvement and
recommendations for next steps
