Blast From the Past | Garmin Wearables

Hot on the heels of the tremendously successful fenix 5 launch, Garmin raised the bar with their most recent additions – the vivosmart 3, the vivofit jr., and the Forerunner 935.

Achieving its goal to make fitness tracking accessible for users of all ages, Garmin introduced three watches in tandem; each offering unique features for various fitness needs. The vivosmart 3 is a smart fitness tracker for casual everyday use – a minimalistic watch with functions that go beyond extraordinary. Kids and their parents can now engage in keeping family fitness levels checked too, as the vivofit jr. is made exclusively for children. Forerunner 935, the most high-tech of the three, is also a data-rich GPS sports watch designed for serious athletes wanting to go that extra mile.

This latest product launch, held at Mid Valley, saw Garmin lining up its latest models for the members of the public as well as media friends. With Garmin representatives helming the displays and ready to answer questions, guests were given the chance to try out the watches, and experience some of their features first hand.

Shedding deeper light on the three new watches was Garmin product specialist, Dickson Cheah, who, with the assistance of a cool video, introduced specifics of the watches being launched. This included features such as the stress tracking capability of the vivosmart 3; the parent-controlled app linkable to the vivofit jr.; as well as the advanced dynamics offered in the Forerunner 935.
