We’ve been a little quiet in the later part of 2023, but
there’s been good reason for that! We’ve been busy!
We are still servicing some incredible clients, but much of
our recent work has transitioned to strategy-focused support and counsel –
planning, advising, and research – the behind-the-scenes stuff that helps
brands strategise their growth and development.
The team have also ramped up training initiatives, and offer
innovative and industry-specific training for mid level and C-suite in ethical media
relations practice, crisis communications, and in broader strategy and scenario
planning.

and will always remain a full service Communications Agency. Based in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia; with insight and collaboration networks reaching regionally
to Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and beyond, we are known for our strategic
counsel, industry-rich training, innovative campaigns, and prompt activation.
We don’t believe in the cookie cutter approach; just as we don’t specialise in
a narrow range of industries.
Our belief
is that PR is for all – big or small, local or global, startup or established –
there is a story to tell. It’s our job to tease out that narrative, enrich and

The Team
Orchan was
founded by and is headed by Farrell Tan and Craig J Selby. Farrell is a
seasoned PR practitioner with key interests in property, FMCGs, luxury, and B2B
marketing, with close to 25 years professional industry experience (more than 15
years in management positions). Craig’s core concentration is on management
communication and crisis management as key areas in managing change. His
interests and experience are in business services, education, technology,
F&B, and property. Craig has over 20 years of senior management and
entrepreneurial experience across industries; with 30 plus years experience in
broader industry. Craig is also the Co-Chair of the Global Qualifications Board
for PRCA (London), in addition to holding Adjunct Professor responsibilities at
several institutions.
We enjoy
engaging with clients from all industries; we believe that powerful
communication is about the ‘tell of the story’. A good PR practitioner will get
