Inspired by the brand creators’ passion for travel, adventure and glamourous lifestyle, Tsar Asia was a home-grown brand with a ‘subtly eccentric’ range of shoes and bags, which promises functionality and individuality for au courant , sophisticated women on-the-go. Bored of all things common, the once-upon-a-time avid shopaholic turned designer decided to turn her creativity into making shoes and handbags. The bags and shoes were custom-made and limited in units meaning that if you buy a pair of shoes or acquire a handbag from Tsar, you are probably one of only a few people in the world to own the item. Personal, unique and subtly eccentric, Tsar aimed to scour the globe to find fabrics, trinkets and inspiration injecting a little bit of the world into your wardrobe. Flustered by an Egg? (Commentary by Joan Bomuhangi) What is it about this generation and its obsession with trolling? Because that’s what this is. The ultimate form of trolling. Posting a simple picture of an egg with the specific goal of dethroning Kylie Jenner as the person with the most liked Instagram post. It’s a stupid waste of time, yet over 50 million people - yes 50 MILLION PEOPLE - have like a simple picture of an egg. I also succumbed to the temptation and dashed over Instagram to like the post the minute I found out about it. Back in 2011, 42East engaged Orchan to launch, promote, and support the growth and development of the establishment. Located in the north part of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, the venue offered a contemporary bistro environment that serves up hearty food. With a strong reputation for pork ribs, the bar took pride in offering their signature stout glazed pork ribs, along with frozen margaritas. We led 42East in putting their name on a map dotted with a number of competing bars, situated along the busy row they were located. They had their signature ribs to be put in the spotlight, hence, we kick-started the PR initiative by having food reviews with a number of media and key opinion leaders (KOLs). Positive feedback stemmed from the reviews, and we were able to get some great coverage. Apart from food reviews, we also helped in creating several marketing and promotional initiatives.
