In the racing arena, who could have not known about the youngest man who finished the season with an astonishing milestone? He is the World Champion in Formula One history – Sebastian Vettel. PUMA, as the official supplier of Race and Team wear for Red Bull Racing, was delighted to host Vettel in Puma Somerset 313, Singapore store to meet with the lucky Singaporean fans. Vettel was on a tour for the Singapore Grand Prix (GP) where he took some time away from his hectic schedule on track, for the fans ‘meet and greet’ session.

Unlike typical ‘meet and greet’ sessions, Vettel talked to the fans who have won the opportunity for the meet-ups through PUMA competitions on Facebook along with in-store promotions, about his prospects on the race and what drives him to be the best of all. In addition to the sharing session with the crowd, he also played exciting games like “Brain-controlled raving cars” and “foosball matches” with them, while not missing the essence of the meet-up in posing for photographs and signing autographs.

“I enjoy meeting fans before a race, so it’s great that PUMA do these kind of events”, said Sebastian Vettel. He also expressed with enthusiasm and passion about the Singapore GP as an eye-opening event. He also added that, “These guys sure love Formula One and know so much about the sport, it is a pleasure for me to spend an afternoon with them at this PUMA store and give them an insight into what it takes to run two cars at a Grand Prix event, as well as what we do away from the track”.

The charming personality of Vettel had definitely made a dream come true for the fans who were able to catch a sight of him at the PUMA store. It was truly an unbelievable experience for the fans to meet up and learnt about the epic story behind motorsport industry. On a separate note, this was a special working trip where Orchan invited journalists from Malaysian publications to Singapore to have a one-on-one interview with Vettel on his F1 journey.
